Salesperson Compensation Report

Administrative Controls

Salespeople are generally compensated for the units they sell.  Therefore, an accurate record must be maintained for every vehicle sold by each salesperson using a Salesperson’s Compensation Report.  This report should detail the vehicles sold and the commission to be paid on the sales.

This report should be prepared in duplicate by the accounting office.  One copy should be given to the salesperson and the other copy should be kept in the dealership’s payroll records.
